Last bottle reference, promise.
Terri, Tatum, & Stephen (aka The TAS Crew) are saying goodbye the only way they know how… Prepare for the longest, possibly most awkward/random, episode in the show’s history.

bye guys, it was fun while it lasted
Whereas some convention panels often result in canned Q&A, TAS has been a resource for actually learning who you guys (and your guests) are as people. I loved that more than anything, especially when the show was capable of being so sentimental and hilarious.
It really changes the dynamic when you guys aren’t just speaking for the enjoyment of a crowd (that often cares more about yaoi pairings than any deeper conversation), but instead you’re speaking out of pure interest in the people sitting across the table from you.
You once discussed the old concept of talk shows being personable interviews and true dialogue, and I feel like this podcast basically embodied that with each episode and guest you brought on. There’s nothing quite like getting an unfiltered look at who the mostly-regular person playing that-character-I-like really is and how funny and interesting they can be.
It’s a small wish of mine that every fan would listen, because assuming that they didn’t come out traumatized by the experience I think that they’d develop a deeper appreciation for who y’all are, because I certainly think that all listeners of the show do.
Thanks for giving us a window into your daily existence (which I hope wasn’t too awkward) and good luck in the future.
I’m not from Texas but I thought I’d try that ‘y’all’ out, I find it endearing. Never stop
Beautiful show! Got a little teary at the end. This show has meant so much to me over the past few years. Every episode never fails to inspire me and make me laugh, and this was no exception. As Alex so eloquently put it, fuck you all.
“That’s what’s up.” Couldn’t say it better myself. Thanks for four years of awesome ^.^ Time to binge-listen to all the segments!!!
all of my <3 to yall!
Now, how am I going to find the motivation to exercise without your podcast? I might have to switch to Radio Lab and their creepy experiments, or to Welcome to Night Vale and their surreal stories because you guys were never, EVER creepy nor surreal. My flab will flab. My sneakers will be covered with dust. Thank you for the ride 🙂
i just found this podcast January 13th, 2015 and I can’t believe it end long ago. I am still listening to the episodes which are amazing, one of the best podcast that I found. You guys made my day even if I am having a shorty day. Thanks for everything. I wish you guys the best of luck.
I’m glad they left on such a strong note, but I do get sad from time to time, I used to draw, go on a train or play Minecraft and listen to this, and I feel very shut out now, there’s not much in the way of insider knowledge from FUNimation, or anyone else, at least this website’s still up and the podcasts are still on iTunes, so I can always come back to them. 🙂
